You can take a couple different paths if you decide to have one. You'll find a variety of kits online, at Target or most local grocery stores. You could also buy any Terra Cotta or other pot of your choice and get seeds from your local nursery. Each kit has a different mix of herbs or veggies and some can even stay inside.
Just plant...water... add sunshine and enjoy.

We just plated tomatoes and bell peppers. Our first attempt to gardening in Houston. If it goes well, we'll plant more next year. How was your trip to Houston? Sorry I missed you. We were in Phoenix.
Hooray for ways to deal with little space! I LOVE fresh tomatoes especially!
I am loving the indoor salsa garden. I have tried to grow some stuff in pots out on the patio, but it gets too much sun and everything dies. I'm checking out Target to see if I can get one.
